Antique piece - museum quality. This beautiful jacket has four mother of pearl buttons down the front for closure, it is unlined with puff shoulders, two functional front pockets, and couple of back slits. The matching full skirt has eight closures on the back that could be possibly moved to make the waist a bit bigger if needed. Both pieces are in excellent condition with an exception of couple very small spots of wear to the raw silk (see pic) which is an easy fix. Couple of small slightly stressed seams on the back and the front (easy mend). One pin hole on the skirt. None of it detracts from the beauty of this Edwardian walking suit. The raw silk is strong and it presents beautifully. Truly remarkable 1900s piece.
